An Egyptian actor and athlete born on June 29, 1904. He broke into the cinema through his athletic excellence, as he was a famous weightlifting champion. He won the Luxembourg Championships in weightlifting in 1931, took on many positions, and established a club in his name. He also participated in the 1936 Olympics. He married Nabawya Mostafa, while working with her in the movie Maarouf the Bedouin, and they had three children. He formed an acting duo with Hassan Kamel. He passed away on May 12, 1964.
