An Egyptian actor and cinematographer, born in 1955. He beagn his career in the early sixties as a child, as he participated in the movies Mother of the Bride, and The Naked Truth in 1963, which were followed by other movies in the sixties until the seventies, most notably We Don't We Plant Thorns (1970), after which he started working in the field of cinematography in movies such as Oh My Country (1986), and The Lady on Behalf of Whom? (1987).
