An Egyptian writer. She has been married to actor Yehia El Fakharany after they graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, and they have two sons, Tarek and Shady. She is a doctor in addition to her work as a journalist and writer. She wrote a number of films and TV series, including King Farouk (2007), and Mabrouk and Bulbul (1998).
