A Syrian actress, born in the city of Aleppo. She moved to live in the capital, Damascus, with her family, where she completed her secondary and university studies. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, worked in Syrian television drama, and has been a member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate since 1982. She held the position of President of the Syrian Artists Syndicate in 2010. Some of her credits are Al Zeir Salim (2000), The Will (2002) and Jasmine's Claws (2003).
