An Egyptian actor whose beginning was through the theater in the play The Upper Egyptians Have Arrived (1989), and his roles continued between cinema and television, most notably in A Secret Services' Suitor, The Yacoubian Building, and The Island. He passed away in 2011 due to a brain hemorrhage.
