Born in Frederiksberg, Denmark on November 3, 1934 as Hanne Smyrner, she died in Benalmadena, Andalusia, Spain on August 29, 2016. Some of her most notable works are Reptilicusus (1961), Journey to the Seventh Planet (1962), Holiday in St. Tropez (1964) and Kommissar X - Drei...Read more gelbe Katzen (1966). Ann is the daughter of actor Paul Smyrner. She lived in Germany, and spent several years in Logano, Switzerland. She wrote philosophical essays on life, death and faith for several different newspapers. Anne Smyrner trained at the Aarhus School Theatre. She worked at West German cinema and television most of her life, save for some American, Italian and Danish works. She debuted her career in 1957 with the film Of All Loved and retired from acting in the mid-1970s because of her illness in 1971.
