An Egyptian writer who was born on September 19, 1939 in Sharkia. He obtained a BA of Law and a diploma from the Higher Institute of Research and Arab Studies. He served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram. He wrote October's Men (a collection of stories), among others. He also wrote for the radio and TV drama, including The Echo of Silence, and The Epic of Kabreet.
