A French director, writer, and editor born on December 3, 1930 in Paris, France. He attended school in Nyons, Switzerland. In 1949, he studied at the Sorbonne to obtain a degree in ethnology. His works include Breathless, Vivre Sa Vie, Contempt, and Pierrot le Fou.
