American actress, born on September 9, 1965 in California. In 1988, she appeared as a dancer in the movie Salsa and made her acting debut in the TV series Dirty Dancing. Among her notable works are Selena (1997), George Lopez (2002-2007), and Switched at Birth (2011-2017) for which she won an ALMA Award in 2012.
