A director and screenwriter from Brooklyn, originally from New Hampshire, born in 1982. He began his life in traditional and experimental theater in downtown New York. He directed short films and worked as an art director in films, television, and theater. His first film as a screenwriter and director was The Witch. He received awards from local and international film festivals, including the Sutherland award for best major film in London.
