A Turkish actor of Iraqi origin, born on June 17, 1975, in Kirkuk, Iraq. He graduated from Hacettepe University in 2000. Selim lived his childhood in Iraq, where he was chosen to join the Iraqi army. He and his family fled to Turkey, where he started acting on stage after graduating from the university. He speaks Arabic, Turkish, and Kurdish. He is known for Vlad's legacy (2016), The Magnificent Century (2011-2014), and Ask Sana Benzer (2015).
