A director, producer, and an actor, born in Jiangsu Province, China on December 18, 1918. He married Lianghua Liu, and they got one child. His most famous works are The Big Boss (1971), Fist of Fury (1972), Slaughter in San Francisco (1974), and Tie quan xiao zi (1977). He died of heart failure on 20 January 1996 in Hong Kong, China, at the age of 78.
