• A British actor born in Shimla, British India. He graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the Edinburgh Academy. He was a member of the Black Watch in the British...Read more Military but resigned in 1932 to join Drury Lane theater troupe as a professional dancer. He later shifted to film and TV roles. His notable works include Strangler's Morgue (1946), Scott of the Antarctic (1948), The Invisible Man (1958-1959), and Gorgo (1961). He was married twice and had one daughter. He died in London, England, on 27 September 1969.

• He was a British soldier who participated in World War II and won the Medal of Freedom. He was also one of the founding members of the British Cricket and Disability Aid Charity.
• He was the youngest son of the ninth Baron Sir Bruce Gordon, upon the death of his older brother, he became the eleventh Baronet. When he died and had no sons, the title passed to his cousin Christopher Bruce.
