Horeya Farghaly is in the process of shooting her new film "Al Qashash" in a studio in Media Production City despite current circumstances in Egypt. The team halted production at the beginning of Ramadan, as its stars were busy shooting various Ramadan dramas. The crew resumed production at the end of last week.

Current political circumstances haven't made completing a film an easy task, with the instability, constant threat of random violence, and a crippling curfew that bans citizens from being on the streets from dusk till dawn, though it was pushed to 9 PM this past week. Due to these factors, the crew has been forced to complete shooting inside a studio far removed from the streets, working from seven at night until the morning in order to make their Eid el Adha deadline.

Alongside Farghaly, " Al Qashash" stars Mohamed Farag, Hanan Motawie, Heba Magdy, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Ehab Fahmy as well as a number of guest stars. Ismail Farouk is directing with a script from Mohamed Samir Mubarak.
