A representation of modern-day challenges that face lower-class people in Egypt, through the portrayal of a woman who escapes home to avoid her stepfather's sexual harassment. She tries to make ends meet and starts working as a belly dancer.

The film highlights the problem of homeless children and the socially marginalized people under terrible economic conditions through very poor neighborhoods. Naahed (Soumayya al-Khashaab) lives with her mother and her stepfather who harasses her. While escaping, she gets violently raped. She becomes a belly dancer and gives birth to an illegitimate homeless child living in trash dumps.
