Hosam divorces Amal because he wants her to abort her baby, as he does not want children at the moment. After Amal refuses the matter and they separate, she gets sick and her sister Inas takes her to the hospital, whereupon the doctor tells her uncle Mahmoud that Amal has lost her baby.

Doctor Mahmoud, Amal's uncle, offers her a job after she graduates from the university. Hosam falls into depression after learning that Amal aborted the child despite his initial wish to postpone the pregnancy. Inas reciprocates admiration with Fouad, who works in the pharmacy.

As Inas keeps visiting the pharmacy over and over again to see Fouad, whom she loves, she then discovers that he is not a doctor, and that he has a girl close to her age.

Amal stands up to a young man who flirts with her at the university and teaches him a lesson. Inas goes to the pharmacy to see Fouad. As she asks him about his job, he tells her he writes novels, which cheers her up, especially after she tells him she reads many novels.

Inas meets her old colleague at work, who asks for her hand in marriage, but she tells him that she does not want to marry at the present time. Inas tells her sister Amal that she likes Fouad. Hosam goes to see Amal at the university.

Mahmoud, Amal's uncle, talks with her about a new job for her after she graduates in a large company that he will open soon. Mahmoud invites the children of his late brother to spend several days at his house in order to enjoy a new atmosphere.

Faten succeeds in her studies. Hosam tells Amal that he no longer works in pharmacies and is currently working with her uncle Mahmoud in the hospital.

Inas tells her sister, Amal, that she misses Fouad very much, and then decides to go to see him in the pharmacy. Indeed, Inas talks with Fouad and they exchange admiration glances.

Inas gets closer and closer to Fouad's daughter Bissan. She tells Fouad that she has completed his last novel and that she liked it very much.

After Amal refuses to meet her ex-husband Hosam, he returns to ask to talk to her on the phone, but Amal tells him there are guests in the house and she won't be able to talk to him. He insists on meeting Amal, who reproaches him for everything he did against her.

As Inas talks with her friend about her lover Fouad and tells her about everything that happened between them, her friend advises her to stay away from him, especially since he is much older than her.

When Inas goes to Fouad's place on the pretext that she is looking for his daughter Bissan, she talks to Fouad about his life and his daughter Bissan, then asks him to meet him again.

Fouad meets Inas and talks with her about all the details of her life, her family and her friends. Then, before he leaves, he gifts her with a bouquet of beautiful roses. Inas tries to contact Fouad, only for her to find him completely disappeared.

When Hosam tells Amal that he is going to propose to his colleague in the hospital, Amal tells him that she does not agree to this step because she knows very well that he is still in love with her.

As Inas tells Samira, her uncle's wife, about her story with Fouad, Samira tells her she disapprove of this relationship, especially in light of his old age. Bissan tells Inas she as well does not agree that she be romantically involved with her father.

After Faten quarrels with Inas, Faten tells her mother about Inas and Fouad, only for her mother to be shocked by the matter, whereupon she collapses and falls to the ground unconscious. Mahmoud gets angry at Faten because of the way she dresses and warns her not to repeat the matter.

When Mahmoud tells Fouad that he is aware of his story with his brother's daughter, Inas, Fouad tells him that he will soon propose to Inas from him, only for Mahmoud to tell him that if he does so, he will reject him.

When Faten tells her mother that she hit a man with the car she was driving, she collapses in tears. Mahmoud reassures Faten and her mother and tells them that the person whom she hit is in the hospital in a stable condition.

When Sohail proposes to marry Amal from her uncle and mother, Mahmoud asks about him before he gives him his final response. Nazih incites a man to beat Fouad.

Fouad tells Inas that she must go on with her life without him, especially since he does not want to cause her or her good family any pain. Sohail marries Amal and she travels with him abroad. The story of Inas and Fouad comes to an end and they both move on.
