Ibrahim dies, and rumors circulate that the mayor is the one who got his money. Bilal asks Fathy to find Diyaa to hand over his inheritance. When Fahim invites the mayor over to his daughter’s wedding, Hassan and Ain are suspicious of the matter.

Bilal discovers the whereabouts of Diyaa from his daughter Zeinab. The mill explodes during the wedding, which makes the sheriff turn against Hassan. As Fathy is arrested, the police look for Bilal.

When Fathy is accused of stealing the mill’s income and burning it, he flees. Bilal returns after he hands over Diyaa's inheritance. Hassan brings Haniyeh and her children to his home, but while he is traveling, Ain throws her out because of her jealousy.

Haniyeh returns to her home under the watch of Hassan’s men. A verdict is issued in absentia against Fathy. As Hassan confronts Fahim that he knows that his family burned the mill, he tries to harass Haniyeh.

As rumors spread about Haniyeh and Hassan’s relationship, the quarrels between Hassan and Ain increase. Hassan reveals to Haniyeh that Fathy had divorced her without her knowledge. The sheriff is transferred from the station. After his recovery, Diyaa returns to the village.

Fathy kidnaps his children to the mountain. As the new sheriff takes over the case of the kidnapping of Haniyeh's children, Hassan's position becomes at risk, and the complaints against him increase.

Ain collapses because Hassan wants to marry Haniyeh, as she plans to take revenge on him. Haniyeh marries Hassan in exchange for returning her children. Ain reveals the annulment of Haniyeh’s divorce.

As Fathy burns the hamlet, Hassan loses the mayorship. Hassan refuses to give up his obsession with Haniyeh, who reconciles with Fathy. Fahim becomes the new mayor and kills Fathy through Hassan, so the people arrest him.
