The doorman Hassanein asks the residents of the building's rooftop not to use the elevator. Abbas tells Mohammed, who serves him, that he mediated for him to extend his service. Lady Zainab asks her son Munther to convince his father to sell the land. Ramzy rents an office in the building.

As Zainab causes problems in the elderly home, Munther rejects her attempts to direct him and her disapproval of the actions of his father. Al-Agroudy decides to launch a solidarity march with Palestine. Actress Farida is waiting for the release of her new film.

Shaker asks Munther to sell the land. As Omaima is waiting for the approval of university officials to make the peace march for Palestine, she tries to collect donations. As Ramzy asks Samah to work in the new branch of the company, he sends flowers to Farida.

As Munther is saddened for wasting his life away, his mental state deteriorates. Al-Agroudy tells his colleagues that he's rich to impress Omaima. Ramzy asks Farida to persuade Munther to sell the land. Wafaa tries to approach Munther and complains to him about the doorman.

As Al-Agroudy celebrates his birthday with his friends, Omaima tells Munther that Al-Agroudy is poor and not educated. Munther tells Omaima that he only gets to choose his white clothes.

As the peasants protest against the sale of the land, Ramzy completes the land procedures with Munther's parents and buys a villa for Farida as a reward. Munther gets angry when the land gets sold. As the pregnant Wafaa falls down, she accuses Munther of seducing her.

While Munther is in custody, he meets Fellini, Antar Al-Layl, and Shawqy Moza. As Fattouh meets Munther's mother, she decides to give him a room on the roof to monitor Wafaa. Al-Agroudy watches Wafaa and her sister Salwa.

Nazla tells Ramzy that his aunt's house belongs to Munther and the selling contract is invalid. As Fellini tells Munther that he loves Wafaa, Wafaa tells Zainab that she will marry Ramzy. As the lawyers try to get Munther out of his dilemma, Munther decides to defend himself.

As Munther escapes, Officer Yasser looks for him. Farida asks the scriptwriter not to confine her to certain stereotypical roles. Munther tells Omaima that he's going to prove his innocence with the help of Fellini, Shawqy, and Antar. Ramzy asks Wafaa to put her property up as collateral for the loan.

As Munther resides in the house of Sheikh Sha'aban, Yasser continues to search for him. As Munther insinuates his admiration for Omaima, she informs him of her father's refusal to talk with him. Munther kidnaps Salwa to pressure Wafaa to confess.

As Munther blames his mother for meddling in his life, he rejects her request to marry Wafaa because he's innocent. Fellini freaks out when he meets Farida. Wafaa agrees with the guy who seduced her to blackmail Munther to get the money.

Munther tells Omaima that he loves her. Fathy refuses to meet Munther because he's a fugitive. As Al-Ga'ar chases Abla after Antar escapes, she seeks the help of Master Al-Shabuksha. Munther is surprised when Yasser lets him go. Al-Agroudy catches feelings for Salwa.

As Munther turns himself in to Yasser, Al-Ga'ar informs the police of the whereabouts of Fellini and his companions; Yasser releases them. As the police arrest Wafaa and confront her with Fawzy, who impregnated her, Munther's innocence is proven. Munther proposes to Omaima.

As Ramzy escapes abroad on the day of his marriage to Farida with her possessions, she files a report against him. Antar requests to marry Abla through Shabuksha. Farida is shocked when the newspapers attack her. Al-Ga'ar takes revenge on Antar, Shawqy, and Sha'aban.

As Munther searches for his friends who were kidnapped by Al-Ga'ar, he uses the help of Shabuksha. Munther checks on Farida, who is being looked after by Fellini while she's in the hospital. As Munther pays a ransom to free his friends, Omaima tells him to stay away from them because they're criminals.

When Abla's father asks Antar to rob Munther's house, Abla refuses and threatens to leave Antar. Major General Fathy Al-Dasity asks Munther to be his partner in a security company. When Khalil asks Mona about her disagreement with Yasser, she tells him that she loves him and won't abandon him.

Al-Shabuksha orders all the thieves to retire from the criminal life and he will provide them with means to have honest work. Farida is sad for not getting any roles. Antar and Abla are engaged. Asim refuses that his daughter Omaima marries Munther because he's an ex-convict.

Shabuksha collects the revenues and splits it with his men. As Sha'aban meets Fatima in the elevator, he learns that she's blind like him. As Omaima runs away from home because of her father’s refusal to marry Munther, Munther’s father tries to persuade Asim to approve the marriage, but he refuses.

Asim tells Munther to stay away from Omaima. Al-Shater Hassan and Al-Ga'ar are plotting to sabotage the business of Shabuksha's men. As Munther has a disagreement with Fathy and the company directors, he decides to close the company. As Farida suffers from constant headaches, Abbas catches feelings for her.

As Shabuksha's health deteriorates after his cars are destroyed, he dies. As Munther becomes the leader of the neighborhood, he takes over the employment of the men after paying off Shabuksha's debts. When Farida learns that she has a brain tumor, her mental state worsens.

Munther goes to Al-Shater Hassan, Abla's father, and tells him that he will take revenge for burning Shabuksha's cars. As Antar is thinking about killing Hassan, Munther stops him. Munther asks the brigades to protect the neighborhood in exchange for the company's salary that they took in advance.

As Munther travels to Ismailia to visit Master Halimo, he tells him that Shabuksha killed many of the English during the Resistance. Munther is planning to entrap Hassan and Al-Ga'ar. Asim blames Munther for being in the neighborhood and taking Shabuksha's place.

Sha'aban tries to admit to Fatima that he's blind. Munther decides to buy land to establish service projects to help the people of the neighborhood; Omaima supports him. Munther's mother decides to file an interdiction case against her son, as she uses the daughters of Shabuksha against him.

As the judge turns Zainab's case against Munther to the prosecution, Munther is shocked. The police arrest Munther for harassing Omaima. Munther rejects Asim's accusations and insists that he is living among repentant criminals. The prosecution files the case.

As Farida suffers from more headaches, Fellini tries to look after her. As Zainab prevents Sha'aban from entering the building, Fellini escorts him to the roof where he meets Fatima. Officer Yasser searches for Zeinhom. Asim is still against Munther and Omaima's relationship.

Munther is brought before the prosecution on charges of profligacy and mental disorder after buying the cemetery. As Munther tries to help Farida financially in her treatment, she appears in a program to tell the public of her illness. Sha'aban asks Farida to tell Fatima that he's blind.

Munther asks Yasser to help him in the interdiction case in exchange for telling him information about the red mercury case. As Fellini demands the treatment of Farida to be paid off by the state, he asks to travel with her. Fathy defends Munther in the interdiction case.

Munther catches Abbas who gets arrested in cases of fraud and theft. As Farida asks Fellini to marry her, he admits that he's her brother. Sha'aban marries Fatima. As the court imposes interdiction on Munther, he defends himself and the criminals and considers them victims of society.
