The events follow Gaber, who returns to his hometown after several years spent as an expatriate and falls in love with Nabila despite his critical financial condition. Meanwhile, the people of the village are terrified of the occurrence of a defect in the oil wells near the town and the possibility of the destruction of the town if these wells catch fire, and the events continue.
