El Tanbouri is surprised by Rita's escape with his money and assigns Hunayn to search for her. During the search, he meets a woman from Bani Rafee' who accuses a man of being indebted to her deceased husband, so Hunayn intervenes to save the man.
Zumoroda orders Qaraqosh to offer a banquet to the people. As Tanbouri wants to marry Zafarana, she stipulates that he marries his daughter off, whereupon the wedding takes place.

When El Tanbouri's second wife, Zafarana, uses his naive son to hide his old slippers, which he regards as a good omen, he wears Salem's slippers, and the latter accuses him of theft, so Hunayn intervenes to reconcile them.

After Juha gets close to Qaraqosh, he thrives. The young man, Amr, gets caught up in a plot at the hands of Darrag's son, so he gets money from his father. Juha and his wife suffer from their miser neighbor, Zubaid.
As Qaraqosh hosts a banquet, Abu Darrag crashes it with a false identity. Qaraqosh makes bets with him; if he does not win, he will be tried, and if he wins, he will pardon him.
