As Abu Tahoun fails to kill Mo'taz, Ma'amoun Bey learns that Abu Jawdat (Jawdat's father) is the one who incited Abu Tahoun to do it. The commander allies with Ma'amoun Bey so that he could learn the news from the neighborhood.
Abu Hatem (Hatem's father) remains discomfited by the presence of Ma'amoun and Al-Nems in the neighborhood. When Abu Hatem learns that Umm Joseph (Joseph's mother) is still alive, he decides to help her.
Moti'a agrees to marry Abdu. Abu Hatem tries to break Umm Joseph out of her detainment at the hospital.
Umm Joseph gets rescued. As the police search Al-Dab'a neighborhood for Umm Joseph, Ma'amoun Bey stands up to them.
The body of Abu Shehab (Shehab's father) is found after Abu Satour reveals where he is. Mo'taz decides to look for Abu Dera'. Sobhy leaves the neighborhood because of what Abu Dera' is doing. Ma'amoun Bey threatens the men to get them to sell their houses to him.
In an attempt to win Abu Hatem's trust, Ma'amoun Bey kicks Al-Nems out of the neighborhood, but Abu Hatem remains distrustful of Ma'amoun. Ferial sells her house to Ma'amoun.
Sheikh Abdel Alim warns Ma'amoun Bey over his treatment with Abu Mar'ei (Mar'ei's father). Abu Khater (Khater's father) decides to marry his son off.
Issam decides to remarry. It's revealed that Abu Issam (Issam's father) is alive. Abu Issam gives Abu Diab (Diab's father) a letter for Issam and Mo'taz. Sa'eid decides to marry his daughter off despite her young age.
Abu Issam asks Abu Al-Nar (Al-Nar's father) for his daughter's hand in marriage. Abu Diab learns that Ma'amoun Bey is actually a Syrian officer called Lieutenant Nimr. Issam learns that his father is alive.
In order to expose Ma'amoun, Abu Faysal offers Abu Diab a job as a waste collector in the neighborhood. The neighborhood people celebrate Khater's marriage.
Abu Diab starts his job in the neighborhood under the name Abu Qa'oud. As the neighborhood's gate gets removed, Mo'taz threatens a police officer with a gun.
Nouri passes away by accident as the hit was meant for Abu Jawdat. Mo'taz moves to the house of Abu Hassan (Hassan's father) to evade arrest.
Ma'amoun Bey frames Abu Hatem for Nouri's murder to get rid of him. Umm Jospeh gets smuggled out of the neighborhood.
Bouran is distressed that Sa'eid wants to marry Hediya. As Abu Hatem gets arrested, Umm Hatem (Hatem's mother) falls ill, but her husband manages to break out of prison.
Abu Hassan gets martyred in a raid by the English forces. Umm Joseph moves to the house of Umm Araby (Araby's mother). Ma'amoun decides to kill Al-Nems to prevent him from exposing his real identity.
Issam marries Abu Al-Nar's daughter. Mo'taz asks the doctor's father to look for Abu Issam in prison. Ma'amoun manages to get part of the neighborhood's land seized.
Dalal falls down the stairs but manages to avoid a miscarriage. Fawzya refuses to return Warda to her mother. The neighborhood people protest when the English forces issue an order to demolish houses in the neighborhood.
Bouran resorts to tricks to prevent Hediya's marriage from going through. Abu Diab learns of Ma'amoun's nefarious plot regarding the neighborhood.
Abu Diab starts implementing his plan to bring Ma'amoun Bey down. Abu Dera' saves Mo'taz's life and takes care of him.
As Abu Dera' confesses to killing Abu Shehab, he asks Abu Qassim (Qassim's father) for forgiveness. Ma'amoun asks Abu Al-Ward to burn Abu Hatem's coffee shop and Abu Shehab's shop.
Abu Khater informs the neighborhood's men that Abu Issam is alive. Abu Diab kills Abu Al-Ward. Abu Hatem learns that Ma'amoun is a spy after Abu Diab reveals his true identity.
The neighborhood men unite to bring Ma'amoun down. As Issam reveals Ma'amoun's real identity to Ferial, she decides to get revenge on him.
Ma'amoun is shocked to learn that Al-Nems is alive. As the neighborhood people learn that Ma'amoun is a spy, they kill him. The neighborhood's gate is brought back.
