As Atris asks Amina to quickly decide on their marriage, Salem refuses the marriage in order to preserve Sameh's share of his father's inheritance; Atris and Amina tie the knot.

Atris tells Salem that he owns a document that proves his ownership of the land and house of Salem's brother. As years pass, Wagida and Sameh grow up, and Saida plots a feud between them. An unknown person shoots Hussein, Sameh's half-brother.

As the police investigate Hussein's murder, Sameh's innocence of killing his brother is proven. Sitta asks Wagida to stay away from Sameh.

As Salama tells Sameh that Ibrahim proposed to Wagida, Sameh asks Wagida to marry him. Abu Hadid plans to take revenge on Sameh.

Salem orders Sameh to leave his house and search for another place to stay. As Sameh goes to Amina and blames her for neglecting him over the past years, he demands his rights.

Amina helps Sameh with money and allows him to see his sister Fatima in the absence of Atris. Amer assigns Sameh to cultivate his land.

Sameh confesses to Masoud his love for Wagida. Atris's health condition deteriorates. Amina advises Sameh to stay away from Wagida.

Sameh decides to travel to Cairo and work in the company of Amer's son. Suleiman falls in love with Fatima. Yasmine plans to hire Sameh to work in the villa and help Bisher with the housework.

Sameh begins his work in the villa and gets close to all the family members. As Atris warns Fatima not to see her brother again, he expels Suleiman after the latter asks for Fatima's hand.

Yasmine worries about Sameh's continued closeness to Samira. Zahra tries to keep Sameh away from his job by falsely claiming that he harassed her.

Salama tells Masoud and Abu Hadid his story and how he arrived in the village. Wagida falls ill because of her father's desire to force her to marry Abu Hadid.

Samira becomes increasingly attached to Sameh, who mends his relationship with Atris while the latter announces his repentance. Suleiman prepares to marry Fatima.

Suleiman and Fatima get married. Sameh rejects Atris and Amina's desire to sell their land in order to have money to marry Wagida.

Atris begins to mend his relationship with all the people he has hurt. Samira tells Sameh that she wants to write a novel about his relationship with Wagida.

Atris and Amina go to visit Sameh in Cairo. Salem agrees to Wagida's marriage to Abu Hadid.

As Sameh gets sick, Samira takes care of him. When Salem sends a letter to Sameh telling him that his daughter married Abu Hadid, Samira hides the matter from Sameh.

Yasmine and Samira decide to help Sameh with money to speed up his marriage to Wagida, while the latter marries Abu Hadid. Sameh returns to the village to marry Wagida, only to discover that it's too late.
