Younes celebrates Olwy's promotion to the position of a counselor, and when he returns home, his family celebrates him and asks him to move to a more prestigious neighborhood. Medhat asks Olwy's opinion about the corruption of his boss. Samir encourages his father to buy a building.

When Radwan learns of Olwy's intention to sell his land, he gives him money as a marriage gift for Nabil to marry Hoda. The family moves to the new apartment, but Olwy's fear of the unknown haunts him. Farag acquiesces to Helmy and Afaf's demands. Olwy asks for Ragaa's hand to his son Medhat.

Olwy throws Farag out when the latter offers him money to leave the apartment. Zeinab refuses to allow Hassan to take Khalil's gift because this amounts to bribery. Younes tells Olwy that Ragaa refuses to marry Medhat.

Although she spoke ill of her, Aida receives Zeinat hospitably. Samir goes to interview Olwy who admires him, but he gets infuriated when he learns he's Farag's son. Medhat quits after he is called for investigation once more. Farag invites Olwy to his party.

Hassan takes Zeinab's golden jewelry to set up a new project. Hamdy wins a car in the competition Farag held at the party. Medhat is offered a job for a salary of four hundred pounds. Khalil implicates Zeinab in a spoiled food case.

Sahar gets mad when Zeinat talks inappropriately to her. Zeinab gets a pay cut as a punishment for the spoiled food. Hassan starts working for Farag. Helmy approaches Hoda, while Hamdy approaches Afaf. Nabil confides in Sahar about his suspicions around Hoda.

Olwy gets mad at Medhat for working at Farag's company. Aida starts working on educational TV programs. Nabil sees Hoda riding in Helmy's car. Samir tries to talk reason to Hoda and Hamdy. Jihan attempts to meet Zeinat.

Farag asks Jihan to stay away from Zeinat. It turns out that Afaf takes sedatives. Olwy learns that Anwar has been taking bribes for him and Younes. Olwy rejects the idea of Hoda's work and encourages Nabil to hasten to marry her.

Zeinab traps the person with whom Khalil deals. Hamdy gets closer to Nahed, while Medhat continues to see Sally and takes an advance from Farag to buy a car. Hoda refuses to marry Nabil.

Olwy falls ill due to Hoda's rejection to marry Nabil combined with his troubles at work. He urges his sister to divorce Hassan or otherwise, he will disown her. Samir tries to help Afaf with her addiction problem. Hoda works with Helmy, despite her father's rejection.

Olwy has a heart attack upon learning that Hoda is going to the airport with Helmy, and that Hamdy is transferred to a disciplinary council following a quarrel at work. The father's illness urges Hoda to stop working with Helmy, and Younes with Farag.

Olwy gets back on his feet and leaves the hospital. Nahed breaks up with Hamdy because her son doesn't approve of their relationship. Olwy is sad to learn that Medhat got a loan from Farag to get the money for his treatment. Helmy reports Nesrine to the security and Hoda takes back her position.

Both Shosho and Farag refuse to help Hassan financially. Samir and Sahar graduate and he proposes to her. Helmy is arrested for counterfeiting currency and Hassan is also arrested. Hamdy apologizes to Naglaa.

Zeinab sells her land to pay Hassan's debts and bail him out of prison. Medhat is shocked that Sally has changed with him. Olwy accepts to handle Salem's cases, and both Younes and Aida reprimand him for it.

It turns out that Olwy hasn't accepted to work with Salem and he has been cooperating with the police all along. Samir and Sahar get married and travel to the countryside to spend their mandate period. The building collapses and both Medhat and Farag are arrested; Olwy advocates for Medhat.
