Shadi kills his sister Najwa after ascertaining her bad reputation. As a fire breaks out in the building, the people go outside on the street and get to know each other for the first time.

As Bahira meets her neighbor, Badi, she tells him that whenever she sees him by chance in the building, it makes her happy. Maher quarrels with his friend, Farid, after he steals the idea of his program and puts it into action.

The police arrest an Israeli agent who has been watching Iraqi chemist Kazem, and the officer interrogates the agent, but he refuses to say anything. Samer decides to look for work with his friend.

Abu Nazem organizes a meeting for all the tenants of the building and asks them for their suggestions regarding the various problems of the building. Bahira flirts with her beloved Badi, who notices the matter.

Nabil shoots his sister, Samia, and kills her, then goes to her lover and kills him. The tenants of the building freak out after they learn the news of Nabil's killing of his sister, Samia, especially since it is the second crime in the same week. The police arrest Nabil.

The Israeli agent asks Naji to monitor Kazem and to constantly keep him posted on his movements. As Osama finds out that his sister, Reem, has AIDS, he goes crazy and almost kills her, were it not for his father's intervention.

When Salma asks her friend, Reem, how she contracted AIDS, Reem suspects that Salma is accusing her of fornication and tells her that she refuses to stay in her house. Salma tells Reem that she did not and will not accuse her of anything, especially since she is aware of how principled she is.

The treating physician tells Salma that she will tell her family that AIDS was not transmitted to her through sex. Abu Nazem quarrels with his wife after she accused him of taking money from people to provide them with services.

Bahira knocks on the door of her neighbor, Olfat, the sister of her beloved Badi, and asks her to go on a walk with her, then asks her about Badi. Olfat notices that Bahira likes her brother, Badi. Maj. Gen. Shamekh orders his aides to monitor Dr. Kazem’s house and arrest anyone who monitors it.

The son of Maj. Gen. Shamekh confesses to him that he quarreled with a girl because she spoke badly of him, which he did not accept at all, forcing him to beat her. Osama searches for his sister Reem at her friend Salma's house, but Salma denies that Reem is in her house.

Bassam, Reem's manager at work, tells Farid that Salma has AIDS and asks him to take a test to make sure he's okay. Farid blames himself for everything he did to Reem and his friend, and decides to repent.

Farid returns the program to his friend Maher and tells him he regrets stealing his idea. Osama learns from his friend that he is the reason his sister, Reem, contracted the virus, after his friend reminded him that they had slept with prostitutes before they traveled to Dubai.

Osama goes to the hospital, tells his sister the truth, and asks her to forgive him for what he did to her and accusing her of committing fornication. Maj. Gen. Shamekh asks his assistants to tighten the police security on Dr. Kazem's house.

Salma learns that the teaching assistant with whom she quarreled in the college cafeteria caused the decision to expel her from college, so she and the students decide to file a complaint against him. Maj. Gen. Shamekh asks his assistants to find Jawat before the Israeli enemy finds him.

When Reem returns home, she is received by her brother Osama, whom she asks to stop talking to her about AIDS and tells that she forgave. Bahira flirts with Badi and tells him face to face that she likes him.

Wedad admires Samer after learning that he has a degree in mass communication but is forced to work in the restaurant. Shehab blames his assistant and accuses him of failing to protect Dr. Kazem after he was assassinated by the Israeli enemy.

When Samer tells his father that he got a job as a journalist in an independent newspaper, his father, Badi, cries tears of happiness. Maj. Gen. Shamekh conducts meetings with his assistants after the assassination of Dr. Kazem.

Salma decides to hatch a scheme to take revenge on Fayez, who caused her to be expelled from college. As the child Rabee gets sick, his grandfather takes him to the hospital.

Wedad asks Samer to do investigative report on important Palestinian figures living in Syria. Osama begins his AIDS treatment sessions.

Samer begins a series of feature articles with one of the important Palestinian men in Syria. Bahira asks Badi to meet her outside the building to talk to him about an important matter, but he asks her to postpone the meeting.

The police call Salma and her aunt Olfat, and the officer tells her that the police found a large amount of drugs in Fayez's apartment. The officer also tells her that Fayez told them that the drugs belong to them and that they put them in his apartment in retaliation against him.

When Wedad asks Samer to recount to her the details of his life and tells him that she's interested in the matter, Samer notices that she likes him. As the tenants of the building get together, Abu Nazem decides to distribute new tasks to a number of the men of the building.

Salma goes to the police station and agrees with the officer to let her meet Fayez and record their meeting so she could prove her innocence. Fayez asks Salma to forgive him after he mentioned her name during the questioning and he confesses to her the whole truth, while the officer listens to his confession.

When Rami learns of his girlfriend Salma's visit to Fayez in prison, he quarrels with her. Maj. Gen. Shamekh asks Shehab to take on a new case of espionage targeting the country's security.

Badi collapses after seeing indecent pictures on the walls of the building and everywhere in the building. As the tenants of the building become enraged by what happened to Badi, the men of the building decide to look for the person who put up the pictures.

The intelligence service arrests Badi. Maj. Gen. Shamekh tells Badi that he's been monitored for a while due to his son's relationship with the journalist Wedad, whom they suspected of joining a spy network. Shamekh tells Badi that Capt. Ezzat is tasked with protecting Abul Wafa, who lives in their building.

Wedad asks Samer to work with a foreign news agency that has a large headquarters in Syria and tells him that all he has to do is monitor the political and economic news in the country and report it. Samer becomes suspicious of Wedad.

As the child Rabee goes missing from the house, his grandfather Badi goes crazy and searches for him everywhere in vain. Rabee returns home and asks his brother Samer not to betray his homeland, Syria, no matter what happens.

Salma visits Fayez in prison, asks him several questions, and tells him that the information he told her is very important and that she will stand by him until he gets acquitted.

Samer learns the truth about Wedad and her cooperation with the spy network. Capt. Ezzat meets with his assistants and asks them to be focused in the coming stage because it is the most important in arresting the spy network.

As Umm Nazem learns from Bahira that her husband is married to another woman, she quarrels with him and he divorces her. When Capt. Ezzat learns that the leader of the spy network is preparing his men for the assassination of Abul Wafa, he informs Maj. Gen. Shamekh.

Capt. Ezzat learns that there is a listening device in Abul Wafa's apartment and informs Maj. Gen. Shamekh. As the listening devices stop picking up any sounds, Wedad grows suspicious and informs the leader of the network.

Badi tells his sister Olfat that he knows about her secret marriage and reproaches her for what she did. Badi receives a call from the hospital and the nurse tells him that a car hit Rabee.

Shamekh visits Rabee in the hospital to check on his health. As Wedad sees Maj. Gen. Shamekh by chance in Rabee's room, she suspects that Samer is cooperating with the security authorities and informs the leader of the spy network.

Samer asks Wedad to host him in her house, then he drugs Wedad to search for information and papers that would benefit the security services. Wedad wakes up and points a gun at Samer, then she agrees with the leader of the spy network to leave the country in exchange for handing over Samer to them.

Samer unties himself and shoots Wedad, who tells him the alternative plan to assassinate Abul Wafa. The security services arrest the Israeli spy network. Fayez tells Shamekh that his son, Firas, is the one who hit the child Rabee with the car, so the police arrest Firas.
