Sweileh is angry with his grandfather for his refusal to buy a new air conditioner or refrigerator. Businessman Saqr bin Naqdi is preparing to open a shopping mall in the neighborhood where Sweileh lives with his grandfather.

Sweileh causes the electricity to be cut off on the opening day of the mall, and lawyer Samir complains about him, but Saqr drops the case when he gets to know his grandfather, Abu Saleh, and discovers that he is his father's old friend.

As Saleh asks his father to help him with the expenses of his children, he discovers that Sweileh has a large sum of money, so he and his wife, Moudi, think of getting Sweileh married to their daughter.

Saqr tries to persuade Abu Saleh to sell his house and shop to establish a big project, but the latter refuses. Sweileh agrees to marry his cousin.

Maryam asks her grandfather, Abu Saleh, to meet the suitor who proposed to her since her father Ibrahim is abroad. Sweileh refuses Moudi's request that he hold a grand wedding for her daughter, Manal.

Hamad bargains with Saleh so that he would persuade his father to sell his house. Sweileh and Naqdi quarrel with Rami Al Dardour over his flirting with Khazna.

Sweileh breaks his engagement to Manal. Saleh asks his father that he work with him in the shop. Ibrahim returns from his travels.

Rami tries to persuade Abu Saleh to sell the shop and the house to him. Saqr expels Samir from the law firm, and Rami loses his money in the stock exchange. Moudi convinces Saleh to open a beauty salon in Abu Saleh's neighborhood.

As Saleh opens a motorcycle rental shop in the neighborhood, Sweileh is injured while driving one of them. Meanwhile, Ibrahim claims that he is sick and that he needs surgery so that his father would agree to sell the shop and the house.

Ibrahim asks his father to open a shop for him in the neighborhood and to give him the key to his old house. Saqr files a complaint against Abu Saleh for occupying the road, so Sweileh takes revenge on him and files a complaint against him, claiming that his friend got poisoned in Saqr's restaurant.

Ibrahim grants a power of attorney to the lawyer, Samir, to have his house rented in the neighborhood, then he travels. As several strange things happen in the neighborhood, Sweileh believes that there is a ghost in the house. Saleh opens a laundry.

Sweileh opens a café to compete with Saqr, and when the latter submits a police report against Sweileh, he agrees with his friend Marian to put mice and cats into Saqr's café.

Samir rents Ibrahim's house to a group of workers, but they cause a commotion in the neighborhood. Sweileh decides to evict them, claiming that there are ghosts killing the residents of the house.

The workers seek the help of a charlatan to exorcise the house. Abu Saleh believes that a ghost has possessed Sweileh, so Abu Marian hits him to exorcise him.

Sweileh accuses Naqdi of being behind the appearance of the ghost in the neighborhood. Abu Saleh files a complaint against lawyer Samir for renting Ibrahim's house to workers. Naqdi is forced to travel abroad to handle his case with Hamad.

Sweileh travels with his grandfather to Thailand to search for Ibrahim and discovers he is married to a Thai woman with whom he has children. Saqr is presented to the fact-finding committee and meets the accused, Hamad, who caused an outbreak of animal flu.

Ibrahim gets forced to return with his children and wife and live in the neighborhood. However, his first wife, Bahija, is saddened by his marriage to another. Moudi decides to live in the neighborhood and rent their house. Khazna opens a low-class coffee shop and calls it "Sweileh's Neighborhood."

Bickering begins between the two wives Bahija and the Thai woman. Saqr returns from travel and is surprised that his daughter has changed the café for an Arabian café. He also gets upset that Rami offered Abu Saleh a large sum of money to buy the neighborhood.

Manal is upset that Khazna is getting closer to Sweileh. Saleh and Ibrahim try to persuade Sweileh to sell the house and neighborhood to Rami while Ibrahim's wives race to please him.

Saleh and Ibrahim agree with their father to move the neighborhood to another place, and they try to convince their father to agree.

Saleh and Ibrahim are surprised by Rami's imprisonment, so they try to get their father into prison as well so that he would meet Rami there and sign the contract to sell the neighborhood.

Abu Saleh expels his sons, Ibrahim and Saleh, from the neighborhood, and Saeed tries to convince Abu Saleh to pardon them.

Sweileh asks his grandfather to approve his marriage to Khazna. Saleh incurs debts. Ibrahim is forced to live in his wife Bahija's house, and his second wife travels to her country.

Sweileh, accompanied by his grandfather, asks Khazna's father for her hand in marriage, but Abu Saleh believes that she agreed with her father that she marry Saleh to take over the neighborhood.

Sweileh gets married to Khazna. Ibrahim convinces Saleh to file a case against their father to obtain guardianship over him, and they claim that he is insane and he is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Saleh is surprised that an unknown person has paid all his debts.

Sweileh tries to pretend he is sick to be admitted to the hospital and meet his grandfather. The latter disavows his children, and Saqr tries to get Abu Saleh out of the hospital.

As Abu Saleh dies of grief, Saleh and Ibrahim discover that all the properties and the neighborhood were signed over to Sweileh and that Abu Saleh owns many factories in many foreign countries that he also signed over to Sweileh.

Sweileh manages the property of his late grandfather, gets Hamad out of prison, and takes revenge on Saqr by killing him.

Sweileh agrees to give Ibrahim and Saleh part of the estate in exchange for their residence in the neighborhood, as his grandfather wished. Years pass, and Sweileh and Khazna have children, and their son grows up and asks his father that they leave the neighborhood and sell it to Rami's son, offering him a large sum.
