Hamdy asks to see Adel. Nargis tries to convince Adel to be patient with Hamdy. Shawky is jealous that all of his friends got engaged. Adel is ashamed that his sister is covering his expenses.

One of Fekry's family members dies. Shawky asks Naenaa to accompany him to the cinema. Hamed asks Nargis for money. Fekry's landlord kicks him out.

Helmy gets high grades in college as Adel's low grades send him into depression. Adel gets a job as a clerk for the prosecution office.

Adel marries his neighbor. Nesrine and her mother clash over Nesrine's wish to become an actress. As his financial situation becomes worse, Adel grows jealous of everyone around him. Farahat proposes to Naenaa.

When Fekry and Madiha meet up, she tries to find out the reason behind his distance. Adel discovers that Nargis and Hamed reconciled. Nargis kicks Adel and his wife out. Fekry marries Madiha.

Shawky is left reeling after his father's death. He discovers that the factory is in a lot of debt and that he has to save their land from foreclosure.

Helmy's secretary tries to convince him to pay a bribe to get a car dealership. A fearful Fekry refuses to travel for his promotion. Adel and Seham move in with her father.

After Farahat kicks him out, Shawky gets in a car accident. Farahat and Naenaa clash. The cops question Helmy on bribery charges.

Helmy finds an apartment for Adel and Seham, and asks Adel to bring him a case file from his boss' office in return. Seham asks Shawky for help to save Adel, who discovers that his wife is pregnant.

Fekry and Shawky ask Adel to testify that Helmy tried to blackmail him. Sehams finds out about the agreement between Adel and Helmy, and decides to leave. Fekry travels to see his mother who is on her deathbed.

Adel is ashamed that he got fired and that Seham had to step in to take care of the house. Fawzy tries to convince Seham to leave Adel and marry him instead. Nargis seeks shelter with Adel.

Shawky decides to leave his job and life behind. Adel starts working for Helmy and gets more involved in his corruption. Naenaa mourns for Abo Al-Mawaheb.

Adel tries to put things back together with Seham. With Fekry's life on the line after his mother's death, Madiha and Shawky go to him. Fekry is killed.

Madiha decides to raise her son to avenge his father. Nesrine and Helmy's son dies, as Helmy is arrested for bribery and fraud. Nargis kicks Hamed out of her house. Adel regains his dignity and honor.
