Aida and Fardous try to persuade Abdel Hamid to marry one of them to sell their villa, in which Abdel Hamid owns an apartment, but he refuses. Abdel Rashid, his brother, comes to stay with him, while Abdel Hamid is surprised by a person with the same name in the bank.

Abdel Hamid quarrels with his brother Abdel Rashid because of the latter's wife who talks about his extreme miserliness. Abdel Rashid gets sick, and his wife, Bannoura, asks to go to live with Abdel Hamid's sister Souad, whose husband refuses.

Omar mediates for Nisreen to transfer to another university. When Abdel Hamid goes to check on his brother in the hospital, the doctor tells him that his brother needs an operation. Fardous files a case against Abdel Hamid on charges of subletting his apartment to others.

Omar asks for Nisreen's hand from her family. The fake Abdel Hamid dies, and his wife, Fathia, discovers that he has retired for a long time. Abdel Hamid leaves work and returns to El Mahalla again.

Adel works in a hospital after refusing to return with his father to El Mahalla. Abdel Hamid discovers that his name has disappeared from the pension records and the employee tells him that there are documents proving his death. He also discovers that his bank account has been frozen.

The nurse asks Adel to donate his kidney in exchange for money. Omar steals his sister Fardous. The prosecutor sends a private soldier with Abdel Hamid to verify his identity and place of residence.

Omar marries Nisreen, and so do Adel and Amira in order to transfer his kidney to her, while he refuses to receive money for the matter. The prosecutor asks Abdel Hamid to file a case to prove that he is alive.

Sanad asks Fardous to bring Abdel Hamid's ID to prove the validity of his death, so that Fardous and her sister can sell the villa. Adel falls ill after receiving a contaminated blood transfusion. Amira's father tells Abdel Hamid that his nephew is ill in France.

Sanad publishes the news of Abdel Hamid’s death in the paper and informs his brother Abdel Rashid of the matter. Abdel Hamid is surprised when people go to his funeral at Abdel Rashid’s house. Fardous and her sister file a lawsuit to evict Abdel Hamid’s apartment after proving his death.

As Abdel Hamid manipulates everyone, he asks to marry Fardous and she agrees. Aida marries Sanad the lawyer. Abdel Hamid locks his wife, Fardous, out of the apartment and asks her to prove how he married her despite his death.

Adel travels for treatment abroad with his father. As Sanad locks Abdel Hamid inside his apartment, Abdel Hamid calls his wife Fardous to save him. When Abdel Hamid gets sick, Fathia and her family come to visit him and ask him not to file a case against her.

Fardous files a report against Abdel Hamid after seeing him with Fathia, and she accuses him of having multiple female affairs; Abdel Hamid tells the officer that Fathia is his wife.

Bahbah sends his men to search Fathia's apartment to look for the drugs, to no avail. Abdel Hamid goes to the prosecutor's office and cancels the eviction order for his apartment.

The police find a bag of drugs and money in the apartment of the fake Abdel Hamid, while Bahbah kidnaps the real Abdel Hamid before discovering that he is not the guy he is looking for, so he lets him go.

The police forces arrest Bahbah and his gang after devising an elaborate plan with the son of the fake Abdel Hamid. The lawyer Sanad plans with Fardous and Aida to entrap Abdel Hamid and implicate him in a theft crime.

Omar saves Abdel Hamid from the charge of theft after he goes to the police with the gold planted in his belongings. As Sanad and Hassan plot to prevent Abdel Hamid from going to court, the plot fails and the court orders the annulment of Abdel Hamid's death certificate.
