Magda refuses to sign the receipt for the new machines and informs the official that she will escalate the matter to the minister. When Magda tells the minister about the existence of violations in her company, he tells her that he is investigating the matter and is preparing a big surprise for her.

The minister informs Magda that she has become the general manager of the company her husband works for. When the employees learn the news, they go to congratulate her husband Hady.

As Magda starts her new job, her husband experiences an embarrassing situation, when the employees call him "The Lady's Husband". Hady asks Magda to cancel the penalty that Shaker imposed on them, but she refuses.

Hady gets angry with his wife and goes to the house. Magda eases the tension and settles things between them. She refuses the director's mediation after he asks her to return Miss Etab to the secretarial office.

Shaker, the deputy manager, gets angry after hearing a rumor that the director will appoint Hady in his place, so he imposes a penalty on Hady and his colleagues in the office. Magda calls the employee who spread the rumor and tells her to tell everyone that she's satisfied with Shaker's work.

Shaker asks the manager's secretary to tell her to punish her husband Hady and his colleagues. Hady invites his friends over to see how he treats his wife the general manager at home.

Hady's mother wants his wife to hire her niece. Hady tells her that it is very difficult, which angers his mother. Magda informs the minister of her suggestions and ideas, and complains to him about her deputy, Shaker.

Hady’s mother goes to the company to meet Magda and asks her to hire her niece. Magda tells her that she will do what's necessary. Magda discovers that the company doctor grants the employees unnecessarily leaves and squanders public money.

The minister informs Shaker that he's been transferred to be the general manager in Al-Malikiyah in the far north-east for not cooperating with Magda. Shaker rejects the post and informs the minister that he will cooperate with Magda from now on.

When the doctor refuses to give Etab a leave, she informs Magda about the matter. Magda imposes a penalty on Dima and Heba, and warns Ghadeer to control the employees in her office.

When Magda's father asks her to employ his neighbor's son, Magda tells him that it is very difficult, which causes her father to get sick and get taken to the hospital. Magda grows very worried about him.

Magda refuses to hire a girl who wants a job through favoritism and expels her from her office. Shaker plots to set Magda up, but she finds out at the right time and turns the table on him.

Magda refuses to open the new laboratories after Mowaffaq, the chief financial officer, tells her that these laboratories were opened in the past, and she storms out of the place.

Magda discovers that an employee is getting paid without going to work and that there are many similar cases. Hady goes to his daughter's school and discovers that the teachers complain about her a lot.

Magda tells Shaker that his secretary fails to show up for work and informs him to call her to come and meet her. Dima spreads a rumor that the minister is angry with Magda and wants to dismiss her after she refused to open the laboratories.

Magda visits her mother-in-law and tries to soften the tension between them. Magda requests to meet Wafaa, the deputy's secretary, and asks her to work from her office.

Wafaa offers Magda to give her a quarter of her salary in return for letting her not come to work. Magda is infuriated and leaves the place.

Magda quarrels with her mother-in-law after she insists on knowing the cost of Magda's father's stay in the hospital.

Magda asks her husband to send her a list of the names of the employees who get paid and do not come to work permanently. Magda warns Etab and tells her that she has discovered her tampering with Ghadeer's documents.

Hady overhears Dima spreading a rumor to her colleagues that he embezzled a sum of money from the company, and he reprimands her. Basma tells her mother that she likes a young man she met a while ago.

Dima spreads a rumor that the minister dismissed the general manager. Magda warns Dima against repeating her act after she runs out of patience with her.

Magda discovers from Mowaffaq that there are two employees who are perpetually absent from work. When she inquires about the invoice for the opening of the laboratories, he evades giving her an answer.

Hady is upset with his wife after he sees the guests at her friend's brother's wedding party rushing to greet her. Hady's mother gets angry at her son after seeing him cleaning the house.

Magda discovers that Mowaffaq is embezzling from the invoices. When she confronts him about it, he reveals to her that he spent a small amount unlike what is in the invoice.

Magda finds out that Shaker is taking half the salaries of two employees who don't come to work, in exchange for letting them have the other half. Hady and Magda agree to let Hany tutor their daughter Basma.

Magda discovers a new scheme between Shaker and Mowaffaq, after they fail to pay a man who returned some merchandise to the company. Magda gives him his money.

An inspector informs Magda that they are aware of the violations of Mowaffaq and Shaker, and that they are temporarily suspended from work pending investigation. The minister tells Magda that the Prime Minister agreed to purchase new machines from Germany.

Magda calls Mowaffaq and Shaker to the office and informs them that they have been suspended from work. A relative of Magda's father sends him money to have the heart surgery.

Magda grows angry with her husband, Hady, when he gets upset over being 'The Lady's Husband'. Their daughter Basma succeeds in reconciling them.

The minister thanks Magda for her efforts throughout the past period and gives her a financial reward. Magda appoints two directors who were nominated by her husband to replace Mowaffaq and Shaker.

Hady leaves the house after Magda refuses to quit her job. The minster intervenes to convince Hady of the importance of his wife's work, and manages to resolve the problem between them. The minister honors Magda, who thanks her husband in front of everyone.
