Wafaa El Masry struggles in courts with businessman Mahmoud Ezzat over a plot of land in Zamalek, as both of them claim they own it. Mahmoud Ezzat is shocked at a scourge in one of his group's trucks containing narcotics.

As Wafaa El Masry meets with Kamel Fahmy, she asks to marry him in order to avoid persisting in an illicit relationship, but when he begins to evade her, she decides to reconsider their relationship.

As Wafaa withdraws from Kamel's life, he tries in various ways to return to her, asking her to marry him in a customary manner, after which Wafaa thinks about the matter and decides to evade him.

As Kamel succeeds in getting Wafaa to marry him in a customary manner, the couple returns to Cairo after their marriage, after which he records a video of her in his room without her knowledge.

After Wafaa informs Shohdi of her secret marriage to Kamel, Shohdi's condition deteriorates, and his daughter tries to find out what is behind his illness, but he hides from her the fact that Wafaa has married.

Shohdi decides to prove to Wafaa how bad Kamel is and his attempts to entrap her, but Wafaa continues to defend her husband, accusing Shohdi of lying. Shohdi finds an audio recording with Ehab that proves Kamel's manipulation of her.

Kamel continues with his perverted actions after asking his lawyer to copy and keep another customary marriage contract with the same data as Wafaa. As Wafaa discovers he deceived her, she decides to divorce him, and annul the partnership contracts between them, but Eman admonishes her.

Shohdi asks Wafaa to prepare herself to run for the People's Assembly elections. It is revealed that Kamel works in antiquities trade. Mahmoud demands Wafaa to withdraw from the elections, but she refuses.

Violent conflicts arise between Wafaa and candidate Zaki Yahya. Mahmoud suggests on Yahya to bribe the people of the constituency with money to vote for him, but all his attempts fall through. Wafaa wins the elections and refuses to join Mahmoud's party.

Wafaa tries to protect Lamis from falling into a crisis similar to Heba, who got pregnant out of wedlock. It's revealed that Ahmed has fallen in love with Ashraqat, the daughter of her enemy, Mahmoud.

Kamel comes across Wafaa and congratulates her on her position, but she ignores him and continues to tighten restrictions on his companies. Mahmoud is forced by his sons to congratulate Wafaa on her victory in the elections.

As Heba undergoes an abortion to her baby from Adel, her condition worsens. Shohdi asks Wafaa to transfer his son-in-law to work in Cairo instead of Sharm El-Sheikh after he fell into an affair with an elderly French woman for her money.

Kamel continues to pursue Wafaa. Lamis and Wafaa try to end matters between her and Mahmoud's family because of Ahmed's intention to marry Mahmoud Ezzat's daughter, Ashraqat.

Kamel travels to Sharm El-Sheikh to wheedle his way into Wafaa's heart to return to him, but she refuses. Shohdi goes to Kamel in his office to warn him to stay away from Wafaa completely and to forget about her.

Ahmed despairs after his mother refuses to wed him to Ashraqat. Shohdi's attempts to influence Wafaa to agree to the marriage of Ahmed and Ashraqat succeed. The conflicts between Mahmoud and Wafaa continue in the Council.

After Medhat's insistence, Wafaa agrees to wed him to her daughter Lamis. As Medhat suffers an accident while traveling, the hospital fails to save him and he dies of his wounds.

As Mahmoud regains his health and returns to his home, Wafaa continues to stand by his side, as her presence causes a drastic change in his life, which impresses Wafaa and Shohdi.

Adel asks Wafaa to help him marry Heba, but the latter refuses. Shohdi is surprised by Mahmoud's desire to marry Wafaa after all the conflicts that happened between them.

Lamis agrees to her mother's marriage. Shohdi warns Wafaa against telling Mahmoud of her previous marriage to Kamel. Ahmed and Ashraqat get married, and so do Wafaa and Mahmoud.

As the theft of the precious painting is exposed in the society, Kamel returns to Egypt after selling the stolen painting, secretly marries and manipulates the daughter of Ehab, his assistant. Wafaa becomes the Minister of Tourism, which shocks Kamel upon learning the matter.

Kamel gets angry after Wafaa refuses to agree to allocate the land for the construction of resorts, and she issues a ministerial decision not to allocate the land, whether through auctions or tenders, upon which the decision causes controversy within the Council of Ministers.

Shohdi offers Kamel enormous sums of money in exchange for giving him all the videos and customary marriage contract he holds for Wafaa, but Kamel refuses and asks Shohdi that Wafaa allocates the land for him and threatens to return her to his matrimonial bond.

As Wafaa collapses when she sees the videos of her with Kamel, she asks Shohdi to help her. After Wafaa tells Mahmoud about her intention to leave the ministry, she meets with Kamel, who continues to harass her, trying to expose her in front of Mahmoud.

Shohdi admonishes Wafaa for telling Mahmoud about her marriage to Kamel. Wafaa asks Shohdi to meet Kamel to negotiate with him, and she yields up the largest resort she owns.

As the investigation begins into Kamel Fahmy's murder, they discover Kamel's innumerable female relationships, upon which the prosecution orders an inspection of Kamel's home and office.

The police find photos and videos of Wafaa during inspecting Kamel's house. Wafaa's relationship with Mahmoud improves.

After Ehab is confronted with the customary marriage contract between Wafaa and Kamel, Ehab admits to the authorities about the truth of their relationship. The police decide to apply the law on the minister and lift her immunity for being accused of murdering Kamel Fahmy.

Wafaa and Shohdi continue to deny their relationship with Kamel Fahmy, until they are confronted with the documents and CDs belonging to Wafaa, and they admit to Kamel's threat to them, upon which the accused are imprisoned pending investigation.

As Abla's husband confronts his wife with Wafaa's videos with Kamel Fahmy, she collapses due to her friend's scandal. Eman tells Wafaa about her scandal.

Ehab admits to his crime. Wafaa returns to her home with Mahmoud, who divorces her because he is unable to live with her. Lamis travels with Ahmed outside Egypt. Mahmoud follows Wafaa before she travels and decides not to leave her.
