As the wife of the poor lawyer Ahmed needs an urgent operation, he resorts to stealing money from the hospital's safe, where he bumps into nurse Raghda, causing her to lose her sight. When his wife dies, Ahmed approaches and marries Raghda, who's unaware that he's the one behind her going blind.
