Yasser quarrels with Jaber as the latter tries to seize all the fish that Yasser caught and orders his men to beat him. Mazen seeks to confront Jaber's men.

Yasser is surprised that his boat is burned, so he accuses Jaber of the matter. Mazen tries to fix the matter between them.

Jaber tries to convince Hamza to kill Yasser, but he refuses. A quarrel breaks out between them and Hamza kills Jaber by mistake, leaving him to drown in the sea, and everyone searches for him.

Jaber returns after being saved from certain death, orders his men to tie Hamza with ropes, and informs them of his attempt to kill him. Mazen suggests to Yasser that he work with his uncle Jaber.

Yasser travels abroad to work on Jaber's orders, and the latter claims that Hamza has stolen the farm's fruits. Meanwhile, Abu Ali admires Jaber's daughter, Khawla, and Mazen asks to marry her.

Jaber refuses to tell Nawara about Yasser's whereabouts. Mazen informs his mother of his decision to travel to work outside the town, so Mazen's mother asks Jaber to prevent him from traveling.

Mazen bids farewell to his mother and travels. Jaber tries to harass Nawara in the absence of her husband, Yasser. Abu Ali aspires to marry Khawla and asks Taiba to mediate with Jaber for his approval.

Abed asks Jaber to tell him about his family and his real parents. Mazen's boat sinks and someone saves him.

Everyone is searching for Mazen, and his mother is sad because she believes that he drowned. Eslewhere, Mazen remains unconscious.

Mazen recovers and decides to return to his town. At the same time, Nawara loses hope that Yasser will return to his home, and Mazen's mother goes crazy.

Mazen's mother quarrels with Jaber and blames him for losing Mazen, and Abu Ali puts Jaber in debt until he agrees to his marriage to his daughter Khawla.

Money and goods are stolen from Yasser, and Jaber imprisons him. Nawara is forced to pay the money on his behalf until Jaber releases him. Khawla refuses to marry Abu Ali, and Mazen returns to town.

Mazen sneaks into town so that no one will see him, and Khawla turns to Mazen's mother to save her from marrying Abu Ali.

Khawla falls ill and the doctors are unable to treat her. Jaber asks Abu Ali to postpone his marriage to Khawla. The latter insists on returning his money to him. Mazen monitors the town’s conditions from afar.

Jaber is forced to sell his property to pay off Abu Ali's debts. He pays Yasser back the price for burning his boat and asks everyone to forgive him. He is paralyzed when Abu Ali kicks him out of the house, and Mazen surprises everyone with his return.
