Nazem marries Salima, to the astonishment of his two friends, Fakhri and Azzawi. He also travels to perform at concerts outside Iraq, and when Sarab learns of his marriage, she refuses to travel with him with the delegation.

Nazem visits Lebanon, where he is hosted on a television interview, and everyone in several Arab countries receives him with warmth and hospitality. When Nazem returns to Baghdad, he suffers a heart attack and dies, and the entire Arab world mourns him.
