Regarding one of the well-known books by Tawfik El Hakim, which describes an oriental musical group with a dancer who travels to Paris to do various performances. The dancer is seated next to a very educated and refined Frenchman as the band is traveling around France by train. Despite the obvious contrast between East and West, mutual admiration between the two begins.
