The school principal quarrels with the philosophy teacher, Mr. Riad, when he goes off-book during class. Riad quarrels with his wife, Thuraya, after her brother leaves his merchandise at their house for safekeeping. Dardiry tells his friend, Riad, that he discovered the existence of aliens on the planet.

Shukry tells Riad that his article won't be published in the next issue. Fatin tells his sweetheart, his cousin Eman, that a director read his play's script and bought it.

When Ezzat meets his sister Thuraya and her son Nagy, the latter talks to his uncle about buying the neighborhood people's shops to store the devices that he does not need in them. Riad's nephew, Dr. Sabry, returns from his travels.

Riad grows angry when he learns that Dr. Sabry has returned for his own personal gain. The English teacher, Qandil, tries to drive a wedge between Riad and the school principal.

When Riad visits Ezzat, he finds his son Nagy there and learns about Nagy's project with his uncle, prompting him to warn Nagy about his uncle.

Ezzat stipulates that his sister and nephew must write the house over to him to allow them to partner up with him. Thuraya signs a document, giving Ezzat half the house. Nagy starts talking to the shop owners to convince them to sell and tries to convince Selim Bey.

Fatin informs Eman that he took his play back from the director and producer because they wanted to make adjustments. Abu Zaid gathers the shop owners, asking them not to sell the shops to anyone.

When Eman learns that her brother and sister are working with her uncle and that they mortgaged the house to him, she threatens to tell her father, but her brother tells her that this could lead to their mother's divorce. Riad goes to check on Dardiry but he is unable to find him.

When Selim asks for Eman's hand in exchange for selling his share of the property to Ezzat and Nagy, Nagy claims that his father approves of the marriage. Abdel Jawad tells Riad that he is among the candidates for secondment.

As Shukry finds Dardiry in a mental hospital, he tries to get him released, but his doctor refuses. The ministry representative decides to suspend Riad until a decision is made about him.

The neighborhood people gather and try to forcibly take back the shops, which were originally owned by Selim who sold them to the Khawaja to demolish and start his own project. When Riad learns about Nagy's role in the matter, he loses his temper. Dardiry passes away.

When Riad stays in Dardiry's house, he sees the aliens and learns that Dardiry was telling the truth about them. But as he tries to convince Shukry, his efforts are met with failure.

The aliens give Riad a week for humanity to change their ways, otherwise, they would impose their control on Earth. Shukry doesn't believe Riad as he tries to convince him of the existence of the aliens. Riad talks to the residents and asks them not to sell the neighborhood to foreigners.

Shukry finally believes in the existence of aliens and the warning they issued for humankind. Ezzat informs Eman that he will get her father committed to a mental hospital. Nagy gets a wake-up call and confronts his uncle, warning him to stay away from his father.

As Riad talks to reporters all over the world to relay the warning of the aliens, he exposes the true plans of Mr. Ruby in front of everyone. When a fight breaks out in the neighborhood, Ezzat is killed and Nagy is accused of killing him.
