Abu Suleiman (Suleiman's father) dies and leaves his son in the care of his friend Saleh. Hamoud tries to convince Suleiman that Saleh's money actually belongs to Suleiman's own father. Saleh is concerned that his daughter, Tayba, will wed and leave him alone.

Saleh opens a new store and asks Suleiman to hire someone to help him. Suleiman reluctantly hires the Egyptian employee, Mohamed. As their clashes escalate to an all-out fight, Saleh rebukes Suleiman and tells him to leave the store.

Suleiman robs Saleh's store which leads Saleh to go blind. Mohamed takes charge of managing the store and manages to restore the money and invest it despite facing fierce competition in the market. Mohamed proposes to Tayba, Saleh's daughter.

Saleh approves Tayba's marriage to Mohamed, even though everyone regards Mohamed merely as an employee. As the years pass, Mohamed and Tayba have a son. Suleiman's friend, Hamoud, asks to work for Saleh and Mohamed.

Despite Tayba's objections, Mahmoud gives Hamoud a job. But as Hamoud tries to rob Saleh's store, Saleh dies. Suleiman returns and tells them about how he lost all his money after he robbed Saleh.

Tayba refuses to forgive Suleiman for what he did to her father, despite Mohamed's attempts to mediate. Mohamed gives Suleiman money and tells him to start over away from them. Hamoud is released from prison and he kills Suleiman.
