As Lady Gulnar becomes angry after learning that her son Bahy is playing with Noah, the son of the gypsy Rabab, she asks Azzouz to forge the tenants' documents in order to show that they have large debts to the land of her husband Galal Bey, who was exiled by the British occupation.

As Gulnar refuses to let Noah and Mukhtar leave the mayor’s home, she asks the mayor to send them to the police station. When Gulnar bargains with Azzouz to let his son walk away from the theft case in exchange for executing her plan, he refuses. Gulnar learns that her husband Galal will return to Egypt.

Galal returns to his hometown but he's wheelchair-bound. Zidan tells Galal about all his wife’s actions in his absence and what she did to the villagers and to the child Noah. In a flashback, it's revealed that Noah is Galal's son from the late gypsy Rabab, and that only Zidan knows about this.

Galal assigns Noah all his possessions and lands without telling him that he's his son from Rabab. As Noah grows up to be a strong young man, he agrees to sell the crops of the peasants at a price better than the price of Selim Bey, which gets Noah into his first confrontation with him.

As Gulnar plots with Selim to kick Noah out of the village, she asks the lawyer to file an interdiction on her husband Galal after he registered part of his land over to Noah.

As Galal's son with Gulnar, Bahy, returns to his hometown, he asks Noah about all the documents pertaining to the land and property in order to assess his father’s situation. When Bahy refuses to slaughter his father's cattle, he accuses Noah of stealing his father’s money.

As Noah tells Bahy and Gulnar that he didn't ask Galal to register the land in his name and that it's not his right to take it, Bahy kicks him out. Galal looks for Noah everywhere. When Gulnar asks Noah to sign a waiver of the land that Galal wrote for him, he agrees.

Galal is enraged when his brother, Fouad, tells him that Noah agreed with Gulnar to sell the land that he registered for him with documented contracts. As Galal reproaches Noah for his action, he falls unconscious. In a flashback, it's revealed that Bahy is not Gulnar's son, and that she secretly adopted him.

As Galal suffers from great shock, he loses his ability to speak. When Gulnar returns to the village with her son Bahy, she stirs up trouble with Azzouz and Noah. When Fouad threatens Gulnar and tells her to return to Cairo or he will expose the fact that Noah is Galal's son, she gets rid of him.

Gulnar pressures Dakrour so that he doesn't tell the police that Zmam is the one who cut the brakes of Fouad's car. Hajj Zidan tells Gulnar to let Galal travel for treatment or he will tell the police the truth about Noah’s lineage. Khamis tells Noah that Galal is his father.

As Noah tells his friend, Mukhtar, that Galal is his father, Mukhtar tells him that Reem will marry Bahy. Noah escapes from the village and works in Egypt. Khamis's daughter, Salama, tries to kill Zmam who killed her father.

As Azzouz goes mad, he walks through the village crying out for Galal to save him. As Gulnar quarrels with Selim Al-Darmaly, she kicks him out from her home.

Noah tells Gulnar that he owns the land and the mansion and that the man who bought the property from her is part of his plan, which drives Gulnar crazy. Noah tells Bahy that he is his brother. Galal returns from abroad after the success of the operation. Asakir tells Galal that Bahy is Noah’s brother.
