Intruders attack the camp of the prince, King al-Kamil's son. The prince is injured, so King al-Kamil imprisons Jaafar, the chief of guards, while the people of the kingdom suffer from the evil of the witch Soraya.

Sharaf al-Din advises King al-Kamil to get close to the public and improve their poor conditions. Idris tries to drive a wedge between Sharaf al-Din and the king, who dismisses Jaafar and appoints him as a guard over the servants' room.

Judge Sharaf al-Din pardons a thief after he discovers that he committed theft because of starvation. Soraya promises Idris to remove Salah al-Din from his position so that he can replace him.

Sharaf al-Din gets close to the thief and decides to rent his house to take in the orphans. Gulnar admonishes Arshad for neglecting his son, while Arshad plots to kill the king.

Sharaf al-Din tries to persuade Aws to stay away from theft. Soraya storms the palace of King al-Kamil to treat his son, the crown prince, after which she tells the king that she saw Jaafar poisoning him in her dream.

Abeer accuses Salah al-Din of cheating on her. Jaafar falls into the hands of Arshad's dissident army, and Soraya tries to get close to King al-Kamil.

Arshad tries to persuade Jaafar to join his army of rebels. Agiba plots against Zainab, the king's nanny, and accuses her of theft.

Al-Kamil puts his nanny Zainab in prison and insults his judge, Sharaf al-Din, after the latter acquitted Zainab, so Sharaf al-Din decides to leave his position in the palace.

Sharaf al-Din takes the poor and needy to the king's palace to force him to help them. Jubey commits suicide using poison.

Aws attacks Soraya's house to kill her, but as it turns out that she is his mother, he fails to carry out his plan. Soraya tells her son the story of how she gave birth to him and how he was taken from her. Salah al-Din's condition continues to deteriorate.

Sharaf al-Din reveals to the public the skills and tricks Soraya uses in magic and her lies to everyone. Arshad is killed by his assistant, who seeks to lead the rebels. Jaafar succeeds in breaking free from his captivity.

King al-Kamil orders his men to detain Agiba, after which the king and his men attack the rebels' camp. After Jaafar saves his life and kills Nadim, he asks for Agiba to be pardoned as a reward for him. The king throws Soraya in prison.

Abu Kuraib feigns illness to avoid working as a judge for Prince Abd al-Rahman. Asim ibn Jamil claims prophethood and that he received God's revelation. The weak and oppressed try to persuade Abu Kuraib to return to his work in the judiciary.

Aguilas defects from the army of Asim ibn Jamil and betrays him. Imran threatens to remove Rustom from his position as head of the police after the spread of thefts. Abu Ziyad refuses to take the position of judge.

As Caliph Abd al-Rahman insists on appointing Abu Kuraib as a judge in his court under duress, Caliph Abd al-Rahman pledges to Abu Kuraib to implement his just rulings, so the latter accepts, and Asim sets fire to one of those who rebelled against him.

Abu Kuraib begins his work as a judge for Caliph Abd al-Rahman. Abu Ziyad decides to return to Kairouan after Abu Kuraib accepts working in the judiciary. Asim orders his men to call his name in the call to prayer instead of Prophet Muhammad's name.

Asim sets the punishment for treason, which is killing the traitor and his family. Rabab complains to Judge Abu Kuraib about her two brothers and demands justice after she was raped.

Caliph Abd al-Rahman's entourage increasingly hates Judge Abu Kuraib. Asim sets fire to the muezzin and his family after he refuses to remove the name of Prophet Muhammad from the call to prayer.

Khaftar hands over his brother to Asim's men after his rebellion, and Aguilas asks Zaidan and Amrus to enter Asim's prison and spy on him and his soldiers.

Aguilas tells Judge Abu Kuraib about what is happening in the kingdom of Asim, the claimant of prophecy. Abu Kuraib asks Aguilas to infiltrate Asim's home and convey his news to him. Asim orders his men to kill Khaftar's brother.

Abu al-Khair gets imprisoned. Khaftar kills Abad and clashes with Asim's men in defense of his brother, after which he is killed alongside him. Abd al-Rahman takes away his brother's title as the heir apparent. Abu al-Khair threatens Abu Kuraib that he'll take revenge.

As Abu Kuraib discovers that Abu al-Khair is working as a spy for Asim, he warns Caliph Abd al-Rahman of the presence of spies who're working for Abu al-Khair in his entourage. Abd al-Warith declares his loyalty to Asim against Abd al-Rahman.

Rustom's daughter is raped, and Abu Jaafar plans to get rid of Abd al-Rahman to replace him. Rustom asks Rabab to forgive him after he refused to help her after she had been raped.

Abd al-Rahman's men kill Salima's cousins. Abd al-Rahman plans to appoint his brother Elias to succeed Imran in Tunisia. Also, he issues a decree that Abu Jaafar be dismissed.

Abu Jaafar decides to take revenge on Abd al-Rahman after the latter's decision to dismiss him. As Elias decides to support Jaafar and plot against Abd al-Rahman, he takes advantage of his brother Abd al-Rahman's illness, sneaks into his room, and kills him.

Elias controls the soldiers and takes over the rule after killing Abd al-Rahman. Also, he sets a great reward for whoever catches Habib. After Elias rejects Abu Kuraib's demands that he make peace with Abu Jaafar and end the war, Elias kills Imran.

Abu Ziyad escapes from the plot of the Roman Caesar’s daughter to kill him. Elias fights Habib and is killed by him. The guards arrest his wife, Salima, and Abu Kuraib takes charge of her trial. Habib takes over the rule after his uncle Elias.

Asim's army confronts the army of Aguilas and Habib. As Abd al-Warith leads a rebellion within the army of Aguilas, the latter dies alongside Abu Kuraib in the battle. Asim slips poison into Abd al-Warith's drink for betraying his army.

As Habib is held captive at the hands of Asim's army, he succeeds in leading a rebellion against Asim with the help of Ziyad and Amrus and kills him.

Habib dies. Ibn Ziyad tries to persuade Abu Jaafar to fight Abd al-Malik, whose army turns against him, after which Ibn Ziyad becomes the governor of Khorasan.
