Abdel Hamid sells the café and opens a poultry shop and a farm. Mahdi studies theater. As Abdel Hamid decides to visit the old neighborhood, his friends prepare themselves to receive him.

Abdel Hamid quarrels with the worker responsible for distributing crops due to his negligence at work. Ibrahim wants to marry Safiya. Reda gets into an accident that causes him to lose his speech and hearing.

When Boudjemaa asks Rashad to sell in his shop the chickens he will steal from Abdel Hamid's farm, Rashad refuses. Ruqayya gets angry with her mother for giving her cloth to Sawsan.

Ibrahim reveals to Abdel Hamid that Boudjemaa stole the crop and sold it for his own gain. Zulaikha decides to leave the house as she grows suspicious of her husband. Najma eavesdrops on all the members of the household for Abdel Hamid.

Mahdi suggests that Sawsan join the theatrical company with him as an actress. Meanwhile, Najma asks Ruqayya to take her to the fortune-teller.

Zulaikha, Sawsan's mother, asks to go with Ruqayya to the fortune-teller, while Ibrahim tries everything to marry Zainab amid the objection of Abdel Hamid.

Zulaikha goes to the fortune-teller with Mounira. As Abdel Hamid asks Najma to leave the house for a few days, Ruqayya takes over tending to Walid. Reda monitors Sassi at the behest of Abdel Hamid.

After Abdel Hamid learns that his wife went to the fortune-teller, he quarrels with her. Meanwhile, Najma goes to the farm to monitor the workers.

Mahdi tries to get Fawzia to work with him in the theatrical show after Sawsan failed. Elsewhere, Najma gets into many disputes with Sassi.

Ibrahim goes to the fortune-teller to find out whom he's going to marry, while on the farm, Najma tries to get close to Reda.

Sakina is taken to the hospital after slipping into a diabetic coma, which saddens everyone. Abdel Hamid asks Najma to keep tabs on Boudjemaa.

Reda eavesdrops on two men talking about Boudjemaa and Mahjoub's stealing from Abdel Hamid. Meanwhile, Mahjoub proposes to Zainab, and Najma grows fond of Nazir, the farmworker.

Fawzia asks Mahdi to help her start a band. Meanwhile, Sami handles the development operations at Abdel Hamid's farm.

Mahjoub asks Zainab to partner up with him on a business venture as she agrees to his marriage proposal. Reda spies on Nazir and Boudjemaa to expose their stealing from the farm.
