After Sobhi asks his mother, Sobhia, to agree to sell the land so that he can get married, she is forced to sell it to Abu Hazem. Zahia is upset about Abu Hazem's intrusion into her life and his wish to marry her.

Hajj Radi is eager to marry Zahia, but Ahmed's wife Suhair rejects the idea of ​​Radi's marriage so that Zahia doesn't steal his money. Sobhia is taken aback by the fact that her son Sobhi has travelled with his wife, who refuses to stay with her.

Radi is overcome with sadness after Ahmed and Suhair refuse to let him marry Zahia, and he falls seriously ill. Abu Hazem and Musleh think about buying Radi's land from his son Ahmed.

Ahmed refuses to sell his father's land, and he quarrels with his wife Suhair about it. Tammam suggests that Sobhi take on a second job in order to increase his income.

Tammam resents the interference of her mother-in-law, Sobhia, in her life, and her attempt to advise her son Sobhi to save money and not to be extravagant. Abu Salem informs Ahmed of his father Saleh's illness and advises him to stay with his father to take care of him.

Tammam quarrels with Sobhi's mother and kicks her out of the house, after which Sobhia gets sick. Suhair tries to convince her husband Ahmed to sell his father's land and pay off their debts.

Suhair asks Radi to sell his land in order to help them with their livelihood. After Sobhia dies, Tammam convinces Sobhi to sell the house and kick Zahia out.

After Ahmed sells all his father's property, he takes him to his house to live with him and his wife, whose treatment of Radi changes, while Zahia is forced to live in another town after being kicked out of the house.

Abu Hazem continues to pursue Zahia, hoping to marry her. Tammam returns to her father's house and asks for a divorce from Sobhi, accusing him of being miserly. Ahmed tells his father that he will buy a new land.

Abu Hazem mediates between Tammam and Sobhi in order to reconcile them and let Tammam return to Sobhi's home. Zahia begins to think of getting married to Abu Hazem after he promised to sign over his property to her. Suhair tries to tighten the noose on Radi in order to make him leave the house.

When Sobhi is accused of theft, Sobhia asks for a divorce. Radi quarrels with Abu Hazem and demands that he return the land and house that Ahmed sold to him, whereupon the latter is forced to sell everything he owns to pay the price of the land, quarrels with Suhair and divorces her.
