Saadawi works in smuggling gold. Youssef escapes after being accused of killing his mother, then Asran kidnaps him. Youssef saves Saadawi from being killed, after which Youssef hides with Zakaria, who claims that he is his grandson, El Aghar, and sends him to Kenya.

After a failed attempt on his life, El Aghar learns that Mida, Saadawi's son, is the one behind it. In a flashback, it is revealed that El Aghar is the son of a wealthy man who refused to recognize him as his son.

Saadawi slaps Mida for trying to kill El Aghar, while the conditions of the latter's siblings deteriorate as they experience poverty, accusations of theft, and addiction. El Aghar and Nahla profess their love for each other, and El Aghar receives his friend who was released from prison.

Saadawi admonishes El Aghar for looking into the past and bringing Sheta, while Hassan reproaches Saadawi for keeping a secret from El Aghar, who strikes a new deal with Adham El Hout. Asran tasks his assistant with looking into El Aghar's identity.

Mida admonishes Saadawi for giving El Aghar his money for the new deal. Also, Mida learns that Nahla's father does not work in the opera, so he blackmails him in order to marry her, while Adham's daughter Yasmine searches for El Aghar to learn about precious stones.

Asran threatens Saadawi to work under his control, but the latter refuses, while Nahla refuses to marry Mida, and El Aghar saves Adham from being robbed, so the latter is forced to pay a larger share in the deal.

Anoush informs El Aghar of Mida's threat, so El Aghar forces Mida to marry Nola. Asran demands to meet with Mida and threatens Adham to stay away from the jewelry business, while El Aghar's siblings are kicked out of their home.

Asran agrees with Mida to thwart the deal between Saadawi and Adham. El Aghar travels to Africa. Bahi meets Hashem at Sherif's office by chance and learns who he is. Gamila and Emad are forced to spend the night on the street.

Mida and El Lini steal the money before the deal is made, and Hassan sees them, so El Lini kills him. Adham accuses Sherif and his son of causing what happened. Asran tries to talk Mida into killing his father in return for money, while El Aghar escapes from his captors in Africa.

Sherif rebukes Bahi for his orders to Asran and ends his dealings with the latter, so Asran threatens him with the secret of his killing Youssef. As El Aghar returns from Africa, Asran kidnaps Sheta to get El Aghar to come to him. El Aghar learns of Asran's plan to kill Saadawi, whom Mida poisons.

Saadawi tells El Aghar about Mida's poisoning of him and the identity of his mother's killer. Saadawi begs El Aghar to end his life, so he shoots him and tells Nahla, who asks him to stay away from her. El Lini robs Saadawi's shop, and Asran refuses to give Mida the money.

Mida admits to El Aghar that El Lini and Asran incited him to get rid of Saadawi. El Lini kills Najia, then El Aghar kills El Lini to avenge Saadawi, and he locks Mida in. As El Aghar offers Asran a partnership between them and Adham, Asran accepts.

Hashem is employed at Sherif's company. El Aghar persuades Adham to agree to a partnership with Asran. As El Aghar tells Mida that he is taking him with him to Africa in exchange for the money he recovered from Asran, Nola overhears their conversation and learns of her father's death.

El Aghar arrives with Mida and Wishi in Africa for work, while Asran complains to Adham that Sherif is fighting him, and Sheta continues to search for El Aghar's siblings in Alexandria.

Selim threatens El Aghar regarding the mining, but the latter refuses to back down, and Mida becomes concerned about the matter. Nola brings thugs to seize Saadawi's shop, and she tells Nahla the truth about her father's work.

El Aghar agrees with businessman Firas to cooperate in mining for diamonds. Nola's management of Saadawi's shop causes problems, while Nahla saves Sherif's life.

As Anoush's disappearance continues, Nahla worries about him. Mida catches a fever, and El Aghar takes care of him. Nola asks Asran to help her gain control of Saadawi's shop. In spite of problems coming up, El Aghar refuses to stop mining.

El Aghar finds the diamonds, and Mida saves his life, then the former changes his agreement with Firas. As Nahla learns that her father needs an expensive operation, Sherif helps her. Bahira tries to convince Bahi to marry Yasmine, who asks her father about El Aghar.

El Aghar distributes one-third of the money he took from Firas to the tribe, with whom Wishi decides to stay, while El Aghar and Mida return, and the latter divorces Nola. Bahi meets Yasmine, followed by El Aghar, who informs Adham of his intention to betray Asran.

Sheta finds Gamila and Emad, but he fails to recognize them. El Aghar learns of the departure of Nahla, who starts working for Sherif. Nola complains to Asran about what Mida did, and as El Aghar finds out about their meeting, he scolds her, so she asks him to forgive her.

Adham incites Marouf to get rid of Asran, but El Aghar reveals the matter to Asran and tries to question Marouf about Sherif. Bahira learns that Hashem is Ruqayya's son, and El Aghar finds Gamila and Emad and returns with them to the neighborhood.

When Asran's men attack Mida, El Aghar and the people of the neighborhood save him. El Aghar kills Marouf after the latter confesses to having killed El Aghar's mother at the behest of Sherif, and he learns from Asran the secret behind Sherif's desire to kill her.

El Aghar tells the people of the neighborhood that Emad and Gamila are Sheta's siblings. El Aghar discovers the fake diamonds that Bahi is selling, so he plans to expose them in the market, while Adham incites the merchants against Sherif and Bahi, and ends his partnership with El Aghar.

Sherif sends Harbi to kill Yasmine and Adham, and before the latter's death, El Aghar promises him that he will avenge them. Sherif asks Bahi to travel. El Aghar tells the merchants of his carrying on with Adham's work and of the end of the quota system, and asks them to drop the reports against Bahi.

As El Aghar sends Sheta to search for Hashem, Sherif invites El Aghar to his house, where he is introduced to his family. Bahira rages at Sherif for transferring Bahi’s shares in the company to Heidi, to whom El Aghar introduces his siblings, while Sherif proposes marriage to Nahla.

El Aghar manipulates Sherif and Bahi, and finds out Nahla's whereabouts, then asks Sherif to be his partner, while plotting a ruse to convince Bahi to also be his partner after Bahi's agreement on partnering up with Firas. Mida asks Sheta for Gamila's hand in marriage, while El Aghar proposes to Heidi.

After believing that Harbi and Elio plotted against him, Bahi kills Harbi with the help of El Aghar, who plotted the whole thing with Elio. El Aghar returns Nahla and her father to the neighborhood. Bahira asks Hashem to bring her the news of Sherif and El Aghar, who learns that Hashem works for Sherif.

Heidi's family approves of her marriage to El Aghar, who learns of Nahla's intention to travel, and Sheta warns him not to go too far in his plan for revenge. Hashem tries to blackmail El Aghar, so the latter locks him in the basement, and Sherif warns Bahi of his friendship with El Aghar.

Nahla collapses when she learns of El Aghar's wedding, so she leaves the neighborhood. Wishi returns, and the wedding of El Aghar and Heidi is held. El Aghar reassures Hashem and reunites him with their siblings. El Aghar finally reveals his true identity to Sherif.

After El Aghar reveals the truth to Bahira, she kills Sherif, then gets arrested. It turns out that El Aghar and Heidi's marriage contract is fake. El Aghar confesses everything to his siblings and asks Heidi to forgive him, then he reconciles with Nahla, and the people of the neighborhood accept his true identity.
