Ahmed Suleiman Mahdi Abaza was born in Sharqia. He obtained a BA in Agriculture, then studied at the Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1957. He worked in the theater at the beginning of his career in various supporting roles. He played the role of the cruel man with strong features, such as the role of the doorman in The Fear. Among his plays are The Mule in the Jug, and Yassin and Bahia, and on television, he worked on The Departure, and The Waterwheel. He won a number of awards.
