He was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on May 23, 1972. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Political Economy. Burak began his career in the field of fashion, where he worked in this field for ten years during the period from 1993 to 2003, but decided to turn to acting. He is best known for the series Dudaktan kalbe (2008), Gurbet Kadini (2008), Diriliş Ertuğrul S3 (2017), and Diriliş Ertuğrul S4 (2018).
