He had a bone disease when he was between eight and nine years old, which continued with him until he was seventeen years old, which exposed him to major health and psychological crises. He is known for Ninth External Ward (1930), (The Crime of a Young Girl's Heart (1925) and East-West Synthesis (1963). He died on June 15, 1961.
