Zeina was born in the Syrian city of Aleppo, but her family is of Turkish origins. She studied at the Franciscan school in Aleppo and continued her studies, obtaining a master’s degree from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of History. She has many activities in the social, political, and cultural arenas as she has worked as a journalist. She founded Zoom Company for Artistic Production and Distribution in Syria and established a branch in Cairo. After the death of her parents, she decided to leave Aleppo for Damascus in 2005 to work in journalism and writing. She launched her career in Egypt in 2009 through her participation in three Egyptian series and a movie with the star Adel Imam.
