An Egyptian singer and actor, born during the twenties in Alexandria. He worked at the beginning of his life in the National Assembly. His cinematic debut was in the mid fifties when he was discovered by Mohamed Fawzy, who introduced him in the film Every Beat of My Heart (1959). He appeared in many supporting roles in a number of films, including Ismail Yassine Meets a Ghost (1954), Husband for Rent (1961), and Bedour (1974). He passed away in 2005. |
