An Egyptian physician and writer, born on June 10, 1962, in Tanta, Gharbia. He is considered the first Arab writer in the field of horror literature and the most famous in the field of young adult fiction, fantasy and science fiction, and is nicknamed the Godfather. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1985. He also obtained a doctorate in tropical medicine in 1997. He began working in the Modern Arab Association in 1992 as a writer for the horror series Paranormal, presenting his first novel, The Vampire Legend. He published many books, and his novel, Zodiac, was adapted into a series. He died on April 2, 2018 at the age of 55.
